Dr. Linda Ruan
I am here to make dental visits easy, positive, and stress-free—providing gentle, personalized care for children of all backgrounds while helping every smile grow healthy and bright.
Dr. Linda Ruan is from Chicago—born and raised! She went through the Chicago Public School system for both elementary school and high school. She never quite left Illinois for her higher education–attending college at Illinois Wesleyan University, and completing both dental school and Pediatric Dentistry residency at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry. After finishing her schooling, Dr. Linda decided to stay in Chicago for her work, where she feels right at home and has plenty of fun making dentistry enjoyable for kids! As a mom herself, Dr. Linda understands the importance of making kids happy and comfortable.
Dr. Linda actively takes Continuing Education (CE) courses to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in pediatric dental medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. In addition to English, Dr. Linda also speaks Cantonese-Chinese fluently.
Outside of work, Dr. Linda is a mom and a wife who loves family time. She also enjoys learning about different cultures, watching documentaries, playing with dogs, enjoying the Chicago lakefront, and attending Bulls games!
